Clement Lenglet added to Barcelona’s injury concerns after hobbling off during Sunday’s 5-0 win over Alaves in La Liga.

The Frenchman appeared to injure his hip and Barcelona certainly weren’t taking any risks with the 25-year-old who was promptly replaced by Nelson Semedo.

It did not look to be too serious a problem but it will be of concern for Barcelona who are pretty short of cover at centre-back.

Quique Setien confirmed after the match Lenglet was feeling a bit of discomfort but also added he hoped it was only a minor problem.

Samuel Umtiti is currently sidelined due to knee trouble with no clear indication of when he will return, leaving Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo and Lenglet as the only other options.

Barca do have almost three weeks until the visit of Napoli in the Champions League, giving Lenglet plenty of time to regain fitness before the crunch clash.
