Three La Liga clubs with a lot of history are in for Barcelona B star Monchu, according to a new report. Valencia, Real Sociedad, and Real Betis have taken a liking to the 20-year-old midfielder.
Monchu, whose real name is Ramón Rodríguez Jiménez, captained the B team as they came within one game of achieving promotion from the Spanish third division. The Mallorca-born Monchu scored in the final against Sabadell, although his opponents managed to complete a comeback and win 2-1.
It is said that Barcelona are hoping to sell him with a two-year buy-back clause which would allow them to bring him back in relatively quickly.
Another player who is pursued by La Liga clubs is Álex Collado, although the Catalans are reportedly going to keep him for at least the next pre-season. The fact that he is currently injured may play a role in this.
