Deco gets excited about Barcelona new-boy Francisco Trincao

Deco has been talking about Francisco Trincao and has backed the 20-year-old to be a big hit at Barcelona.

The forward has arrived at the Camp Nou this week from Braga to begin pre-season preparations with his new club.

Deco has explained what fans can expect from the youngster and why he can be such an attacking threat.

“Trincão has it all to be a success at Barça. He is a quality player with a great future ahead,” he said.

“He’s a classic left-footed player that makes runs from the wings into the area. When he gets into the middle, he makes shooting look easy. He’s good in the one-on-one and has a fine shot. He’s a footballer who I personally like a lot.”

Trincao has been training along with fellow new signings Pedri and Matheus Fernandes this week at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Rafinha, Moussa Wague, Oriol Busquets and Juan Miranda have also been involved after returning from loan spells. The players have a rest day on Sunday but will be back tomorrow for more.
