Barcelona have agreed terms with Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, and are now negotiating a transfer fee with his club, Liverpool, according to tomorrow’s edition of Diario SPORT.

The negotiations between the Catalans and the Scousers are “advanced,” and it is expected that the fee will be between 15 and 20 million euros.

Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman knows Wijnaldum from their time together in the Dutch national team. With the confirmed departures of Arthur and Ivan Rakitić, and the expected exit of Arturo Vidal, it seems Koeman is eager to find a trusted name to bring into his midfield.
