Sergi Roberto is one of the more interesting players heading into Barcelona’s season. The versatile star’s placement in Koeman’s formation changes will be fascinating to observe.

Roberto talked about new boss Ronald Koeman and his style this week. The new Barca manager is thought to be a tough boss with very specific intentions behind his decisions. Roberto confirmed some of those thoughts and more in an interview with RAC1.

“Koeman makes us work very hard. The training sessions have been very long, but they’ve gone well. The boss tells us things clearly, and that’s good for the team. I back him and all our players.”

The 28-year-old also spoke about how he thinks he might fit into Koeman’s starting XI. Roberto said he really enjoys playing in a double pivot but expects to continue at right-back.
