Pedri Gonzalez got some good news this week. The Las Palmas transfer was an important signing for Barcelona’s future. The youngster has impressed Ronald Koeman in the preseason friendlies, enough to grab a spot in the first team.
According to Sport, Pedri is officially registered with the first team for this upcoming season. The 17 year-old’s assignment to the senior squad means that he won’t be able to play for Barca B.
There’s a number of other new shirt assignments for Barca to, according to report. Carles Aleñá will wear No.6, Trincao is 17, Griezmann is 7, Ansu is 22, and the Suarez No.9 is ready and available.
