The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana are in Córdoba for the Spanish Super Cup semifinal against Real Sociedad, and Ronald Koeman has called up the following 21 players for Wednesday’s game:

Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Neto, 26. Iñaki Peña

Defenders: 2. Sergiño Dest, 4. Ronald Araujo, 15. Clément Lenglet, 18. Jordi Alba, 23. Umtiti, 24. Junior Firpo, 28. Óscar Mingueza

Midfielders: 5. Sergio Busquets, 8. Miralem Pjanic, 12. Riqui Puig, 16. Pedri, 21. Frenkie De Jong, 27. Ilaix Moriba

Forwards: 7. Antoine Griezmann, 9. Martin Braithwaite, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Ousmane Dembélé, 17. Francisco Trincão

There’s some good news for this one as Ronad Araujo is fit to take part in the tournament after pulling out of the last match in warm-ups with a hamstring issue, but the defender will be in uniform for this one, though it’s unclear whether or not he’ll start. Out due to injury are Ansu Fati (knee), Gerard Piqué (knee), Philippe Coutinho (knee) and Sergi Roberto (thigh), while Matheus Fernandes will watch this one from home per the manager’s decision.

Predicted starting XI (4-3-3):

Neto; Dest, Mingueza, Lenglet, Alba; De Jong, Busquets, Pedri; Dembélé, Messi, Griezmann

The match kicks off at 9pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 8pm GMT (UK), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 1.30am IST (India, Thursday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
