Marc-Andre ter Stegen may not have featured against Cornella but he still managed to show what a class act he is after the game.

The Germany international gifted his shirt to Cornella goalkeeper Ramon Juan in recognition of a great performance by his fellow stopper.

Juan is thought to be the first goalkeeper to save two penalties against Barcelona in a single match after keeping out efforts from Miralem Pjanic and Ousmane Dembele.

He was told about the record after the match and admitted it was a surprise: “I didn’t know that fact, what I did know is that I’ve never before saved two penalties in my life, not even in a shoot out!”

The Cornella goalkeeper was finally beaten when Dembele struck a powerful shot at the start of extra-time which broke the deadlock. Pedri unselfishly set up Martin Braithwaite to make it 2-0 right at the end of the game.
