Guardiola ‘pretty sure’ Manchester City will lose Eric Garcia

Well, Manchester City boss and Barca legend Pep Guardiola spoke up again. The boss was asked about Eric Garcia and whether his time at Manchester City will be up or not.

“I’m pretty sure he’s going to leave at the end of the season. And [whether he leaves] now in this transfer window will depend on the clubs. We’ll see until the end of the transfer window.”

I appreciate the transparency from Pep, although, this is a classic wait and see. Things could change between now and the summer, and money is in flux. The two clubs involved here could change their minds plenty of times between now and then.

Barca are pretty clearly interested in Garcia, but the presidential elections coming up will do plenty to either bring that interest to fruition or leave it in the tabloids.
