Barcelona will take on Cornella in the third round of the 2020-21 Copa del Rey.

It’s a local derby for Ronald Koeman’s men and an intriguing tie not least because Cornella dumped Atletico Madrid out in the second round.

It’s also worth noting that Barcelona B playing Cornella in December and ran out 1-0 winners thanks to Alex Collado’s strike.

Ronald Koeman’s men have been given a bye until now, because of the Spanish Super Cup, but were in the hat for last-32 draw which took place on Friday.

Here’s a look at the full draw:

Cornellà vs Barcelona

Ibiza vs Athletic

Alcoyano vs Real Madrid

Córdoba vs Real Sociedad

Peña Deportiva vs Real Valladolid

Navalcarnero vs Eibar

Malaga vs Granada

Almeria vs Alaves

Leganes vs Sevilla

Alcorcon vs Valencia

Girona vs Cadiz

Sporting Gijon vs Real Betis

Espanyol vs Osasuna

The third round is due to start on 16-17 January but Barca’s game is set to take place on 21 January due to their Super Cup commitments.

The new Copa del Rey rules mean the lower-ranked teams play at home, and there’s no extra-time or replays. If the game is level at full-time it goes straight to penalties.
