Barcelona suffered a late blow at Los Carmenes after losing Ronald Araujo to an injury picked up in the warm-up.
The Uruguay international was named in the starting XI alongside Oscar Mingueza but had to miss out after picking up a knock ahead of kick-off.
Barcelona were already without Clement Lenglet due to suspension meaning Samuel Umtiti was drafted in for his first start of the season.

Umtiti went on to help Barcelona keep a clean sheet alongside Mingueza as Barca cruised to a 4-0 win.
Meanwhile, Barca offered an update on Araujo after the match.

The injury doesn’t appear too serious but it’s not clear yet how much time Araujo will miss. Barca are back in action on Wednesday in the Spanish Super Cup and will play in the final if they win before heading home for a Copa del Rey tie with Cornella on January 20.
