Bayern on the prowl
Barcelona’s financial problems reportedly haven’t gone unnoticed at Bayern Munich who are hoping they may be able to take advantage of the problems at the Camp Nou.
According to Diario Sport, the Bundesliga giants are closely following the situation in case they can take advantage and prise a player or two away from Barca next summer.
It’s not entirely clear who Bayern might fancy but the report points out that Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri have all been linked with the club in the past.
Denis Zakaria another midfield option?
The rumor mill has already decided Barca want another midfielder in January and the latest name to be added to the growing list is Denis Zakaria.
The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder is out of contract in the summer and Barca think he might be a good option, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Zakaria is still only 24, able to play anywhere across the midfield and has the powerful profile the Catalan giants are said to be looking for.
Barca’s Sterling move depends on Dembele
Barca also keep being linked with attackers with the name of Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling repeatedly cropping up.
Sport reckon the only way the England international will arrive at Barcelona is if Dembele leaves or refuses to sign a new contract.
Sterling is said to be pretty keen on a move to the Camp Nou with Barca said to be thinking about an initial loan with a purchase option.
Liverpool want Dembele?
Dembele’s refusal to so far agree a new deal has brought plenty of rumors already he will move to the Premier League and a fresh update reckons Liverpool could be an option.
Teamtalk have an ‘exclusive’ they are so excited about they’ve put it in capital letters and report the Reds “are lining up an offer for Ousmane Dembele in January as they compete to land his signature on a free transfer”
The report also reckons Dembele is wanted by Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea, and probably Newcastle United too.
