Barcelona’s search for a new midfielder is making headlines again on Tuesday with AC Milan’s Franck Kessie reportedly a target.
The 24-year-old is on the front page of Mundo Deportivo with the headline ‘Kessie On The Radar’ and a new report about how Barcelona are pretty keen on the Ivorian.
Barcelona are said to be following Kessie closely as he’s the type of powerful midfielder the club still want after missing out on Georginio Wijnaldum.
Kessie’s contract at AC Milan expires at the end of the season which also makes him an attractive target for the cash-strapped Catalan giants.
MD seem pretty confident that Kessie will not renew and will leave for free, and the Rossoneri are said to be already thinking about Boubacar Kamara as a possible replacement.
Barca aren’t the only club thought to be interested with the report claiming Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keen too.
The report also reckons Ronald Koeman actually wants to bring in a midfielder in January, while CEO Ferran Reverter has already admitted Barca have around €20 million to spend.
