Barcelona’s Camp Nou allowed to return to full capacity

Some great news

The Catalan government confirmed on Tuesday that sports stadiums in the region will be allowed 100% capacity from Friday as restrictions are eased.

“We are back to 100 percent capacity for outdoor cultural and sporting events, as well as hospitality,” said Pere Aragones, president of the Generalitat. “Mask use will, however, still be mandatory.”

Barca had been operating at 60% capacity but will now be able to get back to normal and hopefully fill the Camp Nou full of supporters for the first time in over 18 months.

Barcelona have three home games in a row when they resume action after the international break, starting with the visit of Valencia on Sunday and followed by games gainst Dynamo Kiev and Real Madrid.

They are three big games for Ronald Koeman’s side, particularly after a tough start to the season season, and a capacity crowd should be a big boost for the players and the club.
