Andrés Iniesta has chosen his preferred FC Barcelona XI for el clásico on his official Twitter account.

The current Vissel Kobe and former Barcelona legend had taken part in many editions of the big game, but he now is playing the role of coach, if only online.

In goal, Iniesta has naturally gone with Marc-André ter Stegen, with a back four of Óscar Mingueza, Gerard Piqué, Eric García, and Jordi Alba. He has his mate Sergio Busquets in holding midfield, with Frenkie De Jong and Gavi alongside. Upfront, Iniesta has chosen Sergiño Dest as right winger, with Ansu Fati in the center, and Memphis Depay on the left.

It’s an XI with few surprising choices. In fact, it’s quite similar to the lineup put out by Ronald Koeman in the 3-1 win over Valencia. The only change is Sergi Roberto started that match at right-back instead of Mingueza.

Another question is whether Jordi Alba will be fit enough after suffering a minor injury against Dynamo Kiev in the UEFA Champions League.
