Barcelona fans have been captured on video mobbing coach Ronald Koeman’s car after Sunday’s Clasico defeat to Real Madrid in La Liga.

It was another disappointing result for the Catalan giants who have now been beaten four times in a row by Real Madrid in the famous fixture.

Koeman has overseen three of those defeats to become only the second manager in history to lose his first three Clasicos.

Frustrations seemed to have boiled over after the match with fans confronting the Barca coach as he tried to drive away from the stadium after the 2-1 defeat.

Barcelona were swift to issue a statement condemning the actions of fans with a statement on social media.

“FC Barcelona publicly condemns the violent and disdainful acts that our manager experienced when leaving the Camp Nou. The Club will take security and disciplinary measures so that such unfortunate events do not happen again.”

Koeman was backed by president Joan Laporta over the international break but will surely be feeling the heat again after another unimpressive display and result by Barcelona.

It’s also another big game which Koeman has failed to win. He’s yet to beat Real Madrid or Atletico in La Liga since taking charge of the Catalan giants, saw his team comfortably knocked out of the Champions League last 16 by PSG last season and started this season’s European campaign with consecutive 3-0 defeats to Bayern and Benfica.
