After a crucial 1-0 win at Dynamo Kyiv midweek, which has left Barça with a very strong chance indeed of making it into the last sixteen of the Champions League, attention now switches back to La Liga and an early Saturday fixture away to Celta Vigo (4.15pm CET).

On Saturday Barça face Eduardo Coudet's Celta side and Sergi Barjuan has named a 21 man list for the La Liga game in Vigo. The two new faces are Barça B players Abde and goalkeeper Carevic.

Another La Liga match is on the way - this time a visit to Vigo to play Celta. Barça will be looking to put recent indifferent league results behind them and get back to winning ways. The match at the Balaídos stadium will kick-off at 4.15pm CET on Saturday.

Luis Enrique has called on no fewer than five FC Barcelona players for the upcoming fixtures against Greece and Sweden, which are decisive encounters in the quest for places at the 2022 World Cup. Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Gavi and Ansu Fati have all been selected, the latter for the first time since his return from injury.

President Joan Laporta confirms: Xavi will be the Barcelona coach - SPORT
Xavi Hernandez will be the new Barcelona coach. Rafa Yuste and Mateu Alemany have confirmed as much to the media in Doha and Joan Laporta, SPORT have learned, has also said the same in a meeting with supporters in Galicia on Friday night.

Luis Enrique makes Ansu Fati promise following Spain recall - Football Espana
Spain boss Luis Enrique has reassured Barcelona fans he will not take any risks with Ansu Fati during the international break. Enrique opted to recall the 19-year-old for the first time since he burst onto the scene for Spain in 2020 after an injury wrecked last 12 months for the La Balugrana star. Fati has been eased back into first team action in Catalonia in 2021/22 but the fans favourite has already netted three goals in seven appearances.
