Barcelona striker Ansu Fati has been spotted on crutches after Saturday’s 3-3 La Liga draw with Celta Vigo.

The 18-year-old had to go off in the first half of the game at Balaidos and Barcelona subsequently confirmed he had suffered a hamstring injury.

Fati was later spotted getting off the team bus on crutches as Barcelona made their way home from the match in Vigo.

The teenager has already been replaced in the Spain squad by Espanyol’s Raul de Tomas and will miss the World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Greece.

It’s not yet clear how long Fati will be out of action for, although Diario AS are reporting it could be at least a month and he’ll miss games against Espanyol, Villarreal, Real Betis in La Liga and Benfica in the Champions League.

Fati was not the only player injured on Saturday. Eric Garcia and Nico Gonzalez also suffered problems and join Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Pedri, Ousmane Dembele, Sergio Aguero, Sergino Dest, and Martin Braithwaite on the injured list.
