Xavi has a message for Barca fans upon being unveiled

It’s no surprise that the Xavi announcement has come with quite the amount of fanfare. The legend returning home is massive news for all involved and an exciting time to be a Barcelona fan.

Yes, things on the pitch and in the financial reports aren’t all that great. But a chance to build something from the ground up with a club legend at the helm of a talented and youthful team? That sounds enjoyable enough.

Xavi had just that message to fans today as he was unveiled a the Camp Nou.

“I don’t want to get too emotional - so I can just tell you one thing - we are the best club in the world. And we will work with the highest standards to have success. We cannot accept defeats or draws, we have to win every game.We are in a difficult moment for the club - financially and on the pitch. So we need you fans more than ever.”
