The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana travel to Seville for the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final against Sevilla, and Ronald Koeman has called up the following 20 players for Wednesday’s game:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Neto, 26. Iñaki Peña
Defenders: 15. Clément Lenglet, 18. Jordi Alba, 23. Samuel Umtiti, 24. Junior Firpo, 28. Óscar Mingueza
Midfielders: 5. Sergio Busquets, 12. Riqui Puig, 16. Pedri, 19. Matheus Fernandes, 21. Frenkie De Jong, 27. Ilaix Moriba, 30. Álex Collado
Forwards: 7. Antoine Griezmann, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Ousmane Dembélé, 17. Francisco Trincão, 29. Konrad De La Fuente
Barça have huge problems for this game and have just 13 first team outfield players available thanks to four new injuries since Sunday’s trip to Betis: Ronald Araujo is out with an ankle, Sergiño Dest is still battling a thigh problem, Miralem Pjanic has a foot injury and Martin Braithwaite is out with a hamstring. Those four join the already injured Ansu Fati (knee), Gerard Piqué (knee), Philippe Coutinho (knee) and Sergi Roberto (knee), and a total of five Barça B players are called up for this one.
Predicted starting XI (4-3-3):
Ter Stegen; Mingueza, De Jong, Umtiti, Alba; Puig, Busquets, Pedri; Trincão, Messi, Griezmann
The match kicks off at 9pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 8pm GMT (UK), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 1.30am IST (India, Thursday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
