Barcelona Femeni won the Copa de la Reina for the seventh time on Saturday after a 3-0 win over Logrono at La Rosaleda in Malaga.

The win means Luis Cortes’ side did the double in the 2019-20 season, as they add the cup to their league title success. The final was played on Saturday after having to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Barca went in front four minutes before half-time when Alexia Putellas netted the opener from the penalty spot after Marta Cazalla had been brought down in the area.

Aitana Bonmati doubled the Catalans’ lead minutes lead with a great run and shot from the edge of the area to send Barca in with a 2-0 lead at the break.

The game was wrapped up just after the hour mark when Jenni Hermoso headed home Leila Ouahabi’s cross to make it 3-0 and seal more glory for Barca Femeni.
