Barcelona trio Sergino Dest, Miralem Pjanic and Martin Braithwaite will all miss Wednesday’s trip to Sevilla due to injury.
The trio have been left out of the travelling squad and join team-mates Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Ronald Araujo, Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho on a lengthy injury list.
Barcelona have confirmed that Dest has a thigh problem but could be back soon.
Ronald Koeman told a press conference the defender could return on Saturday against Alaves or next week against PSG in the Champions League.
Midfielder Pjanic has a foot injury, while Braithwaite is out with a hamstring strain. The injuries don’t appear too serious, but Barca haven’t said how much time they expect both players to miss.
Dest’s injury means that Oscar Mingueza looks set to continue at right-back against Sevilla with Roberto also back on the sidelines again.
Pjanic and Braithwaite both started the win against Real Betis on Sunday but failed to impress and came off early. It seems unlikely either player would have started against Sevilla with Koeman expected to name a strong starting XI.
