Barcelona take on Real Madrid on Saturday in what promises to be another thrilling instalment of the famous fixture which the world will be watching.
The two La Liga giants remain in contention to be crowned champions and know a victory could go a long way to helping them pip Atletico Madrid to the title.
Let’s look at at how they might line up:
Ronald Koeman is expected to make changes to his team and may well decide to bring Ronald Araujo back into his starting XI. The Uruguayan hasn’t started since returning from injury but looks a good bet to come back into the backline.
It’s not clear if Araujo will come in for Oscar Mingueza or replace Frenkie de Jong and allow the Dutchman to take up his preferred role in midfield. Gerard Pique is also an option but it looks like the game may just come too soon for the 34-year-old.
It’s difficult to see Koeman making many, if any, changes to his midfield. Pedri and Sergio Busquets both look guaranteed starters, while the only big question seems to be where De Jong will play.
Koeman also has some big decisions to make in attack. Captain Lionel Messi will lead the team out of course but who will play alongside the Argentine?
Ousmane Dembele may just have cemented his spot in the starting line-up with his last-gasp winner against Real Valladolid. Antoine Griezmann could also start but may drop out if De Jong returns to midfield
Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Mingueza, Araujo, Lenglet; Dest, Busquets, De Jong, Pedri, Alba; Messi, Dembele.
