Barcelona defenders Ronald Araujo and Sergino Dest have taken to social media with messages following the end of the 2020-21 season.
Araujo had an injury-interrupted campaign but still made 24 La Liga appearances for the Catalans and will be hoping to be a regular next season.
The Uruguayuan has now offered his thoughts on the campaign with a post on Instagram.
“This season is over...We couldn’t accomplish all the goals but have to get up and keep trying for the next one. Happy to have won my first title, and to score my first goal at Camp Nou. Keep on growing! Thank you all for the support. Visca Barca!!”

With action in all of the top 5 European leagues coming to an end, Barcelona's Ronald Araújo ends the season as the outfield player with the most minutes played without getting dribbled past (1514').

It’s also been an eventful campaign for Sergino Dest who swapped Ajax for the Camp Nou and saw plenty of game time for the Catalan giants. The defender has spoken of his pride after winning the Copa del Rey in his first season with Barca.
Dest has just been called up to the USMNT squad for the 2021 Concacaf Nations League. The team play Honduras in the semi-finals on 2 June with the winners set to face Mexico and Costa Rica in the final.
