Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets was sent to hospital on Saturday after being forced off in the first half against Atletico Madrid.
The 32-year-old suffered a head injury after a clash with Stefan Savic that left the Spain international bleeding.
Rather worryingly, Busquets tried to continue but then had to be replaced by 18-year-old Ilaix Moriba after just 31 minutes.
Barca offered an update on Busquets after the match:

Ronald Koeman’s No. 2 Alfred Schreuder also spoke about the midfielder and admitted his team had struggled initially after he’d gone off.
“I’ve talked to Busquets and he told me everything was fine, but we just have to know the results of the tests,” he said.
“There was a certain disorganization in the midfield when Busquets had to leave, a player who always gives us a lot of confidence. At half time we talked about it and we improved the game in midfield.”
Barca return to action on Tuesday against Levante and may well have to do without Busquets for the match at the Estadi Ciutat de València.
