Spain coach Luis Enrique offered an update on Sergio Busquets after the Barcelona midfielder tested positive for Covid-19 before the start of the Euros.
Busquets is currently isolating at home but Lucho says the 32-year-old is in good health and is confident the midfielder will play some part in the tournament.
“Busi is perfect, asymptomatic, he’s training (at home) and doing his exercises. We are in contact, he’s doing wonderfully. We hope it’s just doing to be a shock and nothing more.”
“I don’t want to wait for him, I’m going to wait for him. There’s more than enough time, Busquets will be on the list for sure.”

The Barcelona midfielder is not the only Spain player to test positive. Diego Llorente is also in self-isolation and is likely to miss the team’s first game of the tournament.
Spain kick off their European Championship campaign on Monday against Sweden. La Roja then face Poland on Saturday 19th before a final group match against Slovakia on June 23.
