Barcelona launched the club’s new home kit for the 2020-21 season on Tuesday at the Camp Nou with Ansu Fati involved in the big reveal.
The teenager, who is working his way back from knee surgery, offered a glimpse of the new shirt before the official unveiling.

The kit also comes with half-and-half shorts, while the socks are also blaugrana but are stripes rather than halves.
Here’s a bit of blurb from the club’s website about the new shirt.
“Barça’s new strip makes the maximum use of the club crest. On the front, at chest height, fans will find the St George Cross, representing the patron saint of Barcelona and the Senyera (the striped Catalan flag). Two elements that define the club’s identity and its ties to city and country, but reimagined in this particular instance in the famous blaugrana colours, while the traditional vertical stripes feature below, albeit somewhat stylised to give them a more modern look.”
Barcelona went on to launch the kit ‘officially’ on Tuesday night and offered a few glimpses of some other players. including Gerard Pique and Ilaix Moriba, in the new shirt.

The shirt is probably not as bad as first feared but it’s certainly not much of a looker.
If you’re interested in buying the shirts, Barca Blaugranes will get a portion of any sales made through these links for the men’s and women’s kits.
