Miralem Pjanić is looking for a way out of FC Barcelona after a season in which he had very few minutes, according to the latest reports. The Bosnian prefers to re-join Juventus FC, the team that swapped him for Arthur Melo about a year ago. However, it is said that Pjanić now is considering that he could find another club since Juve may be looking elsewhere for midfield reinforcements.
Pjanić came from Juventus with the intention of playing an important role as he did for the Italians. But that wasn’t to be, with Ronald Koeman ultimately using youngsters Ilaix Moriba and Pedri instead of him.
With the return of Max Allegri to the Juventus bench, it would be natural that the Bosnian would want to reunite with his former coach in Turin. However, Juventus are in for Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo, who is turning heads with Italy at the Euros right now.
It’s still not clear which team would be in for Pjanić if Juventus are not willing to make a move for him. However, Barcelona will be looking forward to move his salary off the books given the coach does not count on him for next season.
