It’s time for the Euro 2020 knockout stage! After a brilliant group stage with one great game after another across the continent, sixteen teams have qualified for this first round of win or go home matches.

We begin the Round of 16 in Amsterdam, where Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite and Denmark face off against Gareth Bale and Wales. After a horrible start to the tournament with the scary medical emergency involving Christian Eriksen and two losses in the first two games, Denmark rose from the ashes and found a way out of their group with a memorable win over Russia in front of their home crowd in Copenhagen.

Wales came in second place in Italy’s group but haven’t lit the world on fire so far, and they’ll count themselves lucky to avoid a tougher matchup in this Round of 16. But the team is led by Bale and other talents like Aaron Ramsey and Daniel James, and the Welsh will hope to repeat their amazing performance in Euro 2016 and shock the continent once again.
