FC Barcelona have closed the signing of Ferran Jutlgà, who captains Espanyol B, according to reports from Catalonia. The 22-year-old winger will join Barcelona B.

The player will arrive on a free transfer from Espanyol B, in a move sure to raise some eyebrows as he is moving from FC Barcelona’s crosstown rivals. The player reportedly deleted pictures he had on his social media accounts in which he kissed the Espanyol badge.

Apparently, there is a total agreement between the player and the club and it’s only a matter of waiting for his current contract to expire. His signing has long been rumored but it seems that we are closer than ever to it becoming a reality.

He will be Barcelona B’s first signing of the summer transfer window. Two former Barcelona players are rumored to be set to return. They are Kays Ruiz-Atil (Paris Saint-Germain) Adrián Bernabé (Manchester City), but while it is understood that both are negotiating a return, neither one of them is confirmed.
