The midfielder’s future is uncertain

It’s safe to say talks between Barcelona and Ilaix Moriba haven’t gone as planned. The youngster’s agents have been pretty tough to deal with and that’s reportedly left Barcelona management taken aback in the negotiations.

The tough part of things is currently, due to the tough negotiations, Moriba has been told to train with Barca B. That’s in direct opposition to Alejandro Balde, who’s been allowed to train with the first team amidst his contract negotiations. Apparently, it's due to the level of “willingness” his party has shown.

Either way, petty or not, it’s important for Moriba to get re-signed sooner rather than later. He’s going to be pretty important to the Barcelona midfield this year and getting quality time in with the first team is an important step in that process.
