Renato Sanches has reportedly emerged as a possible option for Barcelona if the Catalans can’t complete a deal for Atletico midfielder Saul Niguez.

AS report that the Portugal international’s agent, Jorge Mendes, could broker a deal that would send Sanches to the Camp Nou on loan for next season.

The deal would also include a mandatory purchase option which would give Barca time to alleviate their current financial problems before securing a permanent deal.

The report adds that Ronald Koeman remains keen on bringing in a “dynamic player” after missing out on Georgino Wijnaldum and Sanches fits the bill.

Mundo Deportivo also bring news about Sanches and reckon the midfielder “has been offered” to Barcelona but the Catalans aren’t keen.

Indeed the report seems to think there is little chance of the former Bayern Munich man ending up at the Camp Nou even though Koeman does still want a midfielder.
