As one of the bright spots of Barcelona’s preseason, Rey Manaj has set himself up for success. The Albanian attacker has scored four times so far in just two games and proven he may be a player that first-team coach Ronald Koeman can count on in certain spots.
The fun part is that clubs who were maybe slightly interested in Manaj in the past are now seeing what the guy can do with some key playing time.
According to Sport, Sassuolo are a team who are interested in him. Manaj has interested them in the past and a move could now happen this offseason. He came to Barcelona last January and his contract runs till 2023. Given the financial issues the club faces, it seems they would be more than happy to facilitate a move should Manaj give the go-ahead.
