Ansu Fati set to return for Barcelona preseason - report

Good news everyone, Ansu Fati will reportedly be set to return to Barcelona for the preseason this month. Fati has of course been working his way back from a knee injury that led him to miss most of last season.

The biggest concern for Fati and Barca supporters has been his continual setbacks amidst the recovery. It was all too reminiscent of Ousmane Dembele’s multiple injury setbacks over the last couple of years.

Fati is set to train alone for some time while he works back to fitness. He’ll then return to join the team training before hopefully getting some time in a few friendly matches. There’s even optimism he will be in the squad for the first game of the season.

The league season kicks off with Barcelona’s first game against Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou on 14-15 August and it’d do wonders to have Fati back in the mix.
