Barcelona are set to complete the signing of 17-year-old Turkish midfielder Emre Demir from Kayserispor.
The news comes from Diario Sport who reckon the Catalans have been tracking the attacking midfielder for some time and will pay 4 million euros for his services.
Demir is expected to stay with Kayserispor for the rest of the campaign but will then head to the Camp Nou and link up with Barcelona B.
The youngster will become the second Demir to join Barca this summer. The Catalans have already brought in Yusuf Demir from Rapid Vienna who has already made quite an impression at the Camp Nou.
Demir was originally signed for Barcelona B but impressed in pre-season with the first team and remains with the squad. Ronald Koeman even handed the winger his La Liga debut against Athletic at San Mames.
It’s thought Demir will stay with the first-team squad for a bit longer but could drop back to Barca B once Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati are back from injury.
