Ansu Fati expected to return to Barcelona squad for Levante clash

The teenager has been out since November 2020

The day is finally here. According to Sport, Ansu Fati will be in Barcelona’s squad on Sunday against Levante. After 10 months and a couple of surgeries, the present-day hope of Barcelona will return to the squad.

Whether or not he plays is a big question mark. Frankly, I’d be surprised if he actually made his way onto the pitch. But perhaps, for the cameras and fans, they could at least send him to warm up so we could get a sneak peek at him in the kit with his new No. 10.

Fati is one of many Barcelona players who’re currently recovering from an injury. He’s likely the closest to an actual playing time return given how careful Barcelona have been with him. I just have to say, credit where credit is due. Barca have actually taken this recovery as seriously as they should have. Hopefully, learning from past mistakes.
