Barcelona hit by Gavi injury scare

Barcelona have reportedly been hit with fresh injury woe with fears Gavi has picked up a problem on international duty with Spain.

Carrusel Deportivo are reporting that the teenager, and Nico Williams, suffered an injury during Tuesday’s training session.

There’s no detail offered on what the injury is or how serious it might be, but it seems Spain are waiting to see how things progress.

Gavi did sit out the first training session with Spain after linking up with the squad, opting for the gym insted, but then did return to full training with his team-mates.

Barcelona will be waiting anxiously for an update on the midfielder, particularly as the team’s injury list is getting bigger and bigger.

Jules Kounde and Lamine Yamal have both been sidelined in the last few days, joining Robert Lewandowski, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Raphinha on the injured list at Barca.
