Barcelona and Real Madrid interested in young French star - report

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the young French star Eli Junior Kroupi, who plays for FC Lorient. This is according to the latest rumors.

The 17-year-old French youth international has earned a spot at Lorient despite his young age, registering three goals and two assists in eight matches.

The hype is building in the press, with some calling him the “new Kylian Mbappé.” It’s worth noting, however, that he is in fact the new Élie Kroupi; he’s the son of the Ivory Coast international.

Kroupi has a contract until 2026, and it’s understood that his club is looking to renew it.
