Ferran Torres showed his support to injured team-mate Gavi after scoring for Spain against Georgia on Sunday.
Gavi was forced off in the first half with a knee problem, with early reports suggesting the Barcelona midfielder has suffered a significant injury.
Torres went on to head Spain into a 2-1 lead in the second half and celebrated by holding up Gavi’s No. 9 shirt.

It’s a generous gesture from Ferran with the game likely to be completely overshadowed by news of Gavi’s injury, particularly if he is sidelined for a significant amount of time.
Questions will also be asked of manager Luis de la Fuente and his decision to start Gavi yet again in a match which means little given the team have already qualified for Euro 2024.
De la Fuente was asked about Gavi in the build-up to the game but insisted there was no need to rotate the Barca teen.
“He has a privileged body. Top players never rest, that’s why they’re good,” he told reporters at his press conference.
Let’s keep everything crossed for Gavi and hope his injury is not as bad as it seems.
