The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana welcome FC Porto to the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium for a monster Champions League group stage game, and Xavi Hernández has called up the following 22 players for Tuesday’s clash:

Goalkeepers: 13. Iñaki Peña, 26. Ander Astralaga, 31. Diego Kochen

Defenders: 2. João Cancelo, 3. Alejandro Balde, 4. Ronald Araujo, 5. Iñigo Martínez, 15. Andreas Christensen, 17. Marcos Alonso, 23. Jules Kounde

Midfielders: 8. Pedri, 18. Oriol Romeu, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Frenkie de Jong, 22. Ilkay Gündogan, 30. Marc Casadó, 32. Fermín López

Forwards: 7. Ferran Torres, 9. Robert Lewandowski, 11. Raphinha, 14. João Félix, 27. Lamine Yamal

The good news for this one is the return of captain Sergi Roberto, who comes back almost two months after suffering a calf injury. His return adds important depth to midfield without Gavi (knee) who is out until the end of the season, and young Marc Casadó also gets a call-up to increase the numbers in the middle of the park. The bad news is that Marc-André ter Stegen has not recovered in time from his back injury and misses a second game in a row, so Diego Kochen gets the call to be the third goalkeeper and Iñaki Peña will start once again.

Predicted starting XI (4-3-3):

Peña; Cancelo, Araujo, Kounde, Balde; Pedri, De Jong, Gündogan; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Félix

The match kicks off at 9pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 8pm GMT (UK), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 1.30am IST (India, Wednesday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
