The Catalans are keen to bring in a midfielder this winter, after losing Gavi to injury, and the rumor mill has claimed Garcia is currently the top target.

Geli isn’t too impressed and insists he doesn’t want to lose any of is players after seeing them make a brilliant start to the seaso.

“Aleix is our player. We want all our footballers to continue. We understand that many things can be said in a market, but we are clear that we will not let any player go.” he told Catalunya Radio. “Aleix is fully involved and will stay with us if there is nothing new.”

Garcia does have a release clause of 20 million euros in his contract but it’s thought that Barca can’t reach that this winter due to their financial limitations.
