Barcelona are reportedly willing to turn down a massive offer from Bayern Munich this winter for defender Ronald Araujo.

There’s been speculation for a while that the Bavarian giants want Araujo, and it does not seem to be going away.

The latest update comes from Cadena SER who reckon Barca were told Bayern are willing to spend €100 million on Araujo but aren’t interested in selling.

Barca view the Uruguay international as “untouchable” and seemingly won’t let him go even if a massive offer arrives this January and despite the club’s financial problems.

It remains to be seen if Bayern will return with a big-money bid in the summer, but the Bundesliga giants may well try again.

There has already been speculation that Barca must make a big sale at the end of the season, to balance the books, and that they are willing to sell a center-back.
