Barcelona confirmed on Monday that Ronald Araujo has joined up with Barca B to help boost their promotion push.

The Uruguayan played for the first team on Sunday in defence, coming in for the suspended Gerard Pique in the 5-0 win at Alaves.

However, he will now help out Garcia Pimienta’s team for Thursday’s clash against Badajoz which will be played in Andalusia.

Goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, who was also in the squad for Alaves, has also joined up with Barca B.

Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig have not been called up for the clash. They will train again with the first team on Tuesday and then get some rest ahead of the Napoli game.
