Barcelona B beat leaders Ibiza 2-1 on Sunday to qualify for the promotion play-offs to the Segunda División A for the second season in a row.

Rey Manaj headed the hosts in front midway through the first half from an Alex Collado corner in from the right.

Barca did not have to wait long to double their lead with Konrad de la Fuente making it 2-0 just three minutes later. The USMNT star is in good form with four goals and two assists in his last five games.

The visitors hit back after the break in front of 971 fans at the Estadi Johan Cruyff with Davo pulling one back just before the hour mark. Ibiza had chances to grab an equalizer but Barca B managed to hang on for an important win.

It’s a great result for the team on what was coach Garcia Pimienta’s 100th game in charge and followed on from Barca Femeni’s Champions League semi-final victory over PSG earlier in the day.

Now over to the first team....
