It’s quarter-final time in the Copa del Rey and Barcelona will make the short trip across the city to take on Espanyol on Wednesday night.
It’s the first leg of the tie so Ernesto Valverde could rotate, but being a derby game, we can still expect a pretty strong line-up.
Here’s a look at who could feature on Wednesday...
Defence
Jasper Cillessen will continue as the team’s Copa del Rey goalkeeper but Nelson Semedo is a doubt at right-back after missing the Real Sociedad trip due to tonsillitis.
Should Semedo miss out, Sergi Roberto will continue at full-back and Lucas Digne could come in on the left for Jordi Alba.
In central defence we could see Javier Mascherano again, alongside either Gerard Pique or Thomas Vermaelen.
Might we also see a debut for Yerry Mina? He’s fit but he’s only had a couple of training sessions with his new team - so we’ll have to wait and see on that one.
Midfield
Barcelona have injury problems in midfield with new signing Philippe Coutinho still out while Ousmane Dembele and Andres Iniesta will also miss the game due to injury.
The injuries may mean Denis Suarez is handed a start and we could also get to see Jose Arnaiz in a wide position.
Sergio Busquets should get a start while Ivan Rakitic and Paulinho are also options, and Carles Alena will also be hoping for some minutes after training with the first-team.
Attack
Valverde does not have too many options in attack, Paco Alcacer is nearing a return to fitness but this game may just come too soon for him.
Arnaiz is also an option up front but Valverde has frequently gone for his strongest line-up this season and we may just see Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi continue up front.
Possible starting XI: Cillessen; Roberto, Mascherano, Vermaelen, Digne; Rakitic, Busquets, Denis Suarez, Arnaiz; Messi, Suarez.
