Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper suffers more injury misery

Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper suffered yet more injury misery as he picked up a calf problem in the Copa del Rey clash at Cultural Leonesa on Wednesday.

Samper was forced off in the first half with the problem, with Carles Alena coming on to take his place.

The 23-year-old looked really upset on the bench, understandably so, and will have tests to determine the severity of the injury on Thursday.

Samper has had more than his fair share of injuries already in his career and really deserves a break. Let’s hope his latest setback is only minor, and he’s back soon.
