Luis Suarez was quick to offer his view after Barcelona’s huge Copa del Rey win over Sevilla on Saturday night,

Barcelona simply blew Sevilla away in a brilliant display with Suarez scoring twice at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The win means Barca are now just three points away from completing a domestic double and Suarez says it’s a great achievement.

”They are difficult circumstances and we have to reverse the change the situation. It doesn’t hide what happened in Roma, but it’s an important title.

“At the start of the season, we would have all accepted it. It’s a great achievement. The league has many games and in the Copa everyone knows that they want to win.

“It’s strange that we were eliminated from the Champions League, because you get the impression that we could have gone very far.

“We started the first half really well. We worked with organisation. It went well and was the fruit of the work of a concentrated team. It’s a lovely moment for culés, we wanted to win it no matter what.”

The Champions League defeat is still pretty tough to take and Barcelona’s performance against Sevilla just increases the questions over the team’s capitulation against Roma.

Barcelona are now destined to complete a league and cup double now which is a great achievement and, like Suarez says, is something we’d all have signed up for at the start of the season.
