Jeison Murillo made his Barcelona debut against Levante on Thursday night and spoke about the 2-1 defeat after the match.
It was a tough night for Ernesto Valverde’s side, but Philippe Coutinho’s late goal will have given them hope they can make it through to the quarter-finals.
“I have a bittersweet taste because it was my debut but the result has not been the best, although we have to take advantage of Coutinho’s goal at home,” he said.
“I felt good at the beginning, fitting in with the team’s idea of play and in this sense we have to see the positive side because on a personal level I felt very good with the team.
“We all know that an early goal changes things but we are Barcelona and we have to come back. We have the second leg that is the important thing.”

Murillo played all 90 minutes on his first Barcelona appearance. He started off alongside Chumi in a backline that also consisted of Nelson Semedo and Juan Miranda.
The centre-back has joined Barcelona on loan from Valencia until the end of the season, although the deal does include an option to make the move permanent.
