Ladies and gentlemen, it’s happening. El Clásico is happening for a place in the Spanish Cup Final. Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey semifinals after a draw was made on Friday afternoon in Spain. Real Betis and Valencia will play the other semis.

The two biggest rivals in Spanish football met once this season in La Liga, with Barça putting on a historic show and winning 5-1 at Camp Nou — without Lionel Messi. Things have changed a lot for Madrid since then, with a manager sacked and the results improved. They knocked out Girona in the quarterfinals, while Barça produced a spectacular comeback over Sevilla, including a 6-1 win in the second leg.

The first leg will take place at Camp Nou next Wednesday (February 6), with the second leg to be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday, February 27. What do you think of the draw, Barça fans? Excited for El Clásico in the Copa?
