Sergio Busquets says Clasico goal will ‘do a lot’ for Malcom

Sergio Busquets says Malcom’s goal against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey will do a lot for the youngster’s confidence.

The Brazilian was a surprise inclusion against Los Blancos but put in a lively performance and scored the equaliser in the second half.

Busquets talked about Malcom after the match and also reckoned that a 1-1 draw was the right result.

“I’m sure this will be good for Malcom’s confidence,” he said. ”The goal will do a lot for him. We hope he can keep helping us.

“Both teams had chances but neither deserved to win more than the other. The tie is 50-50. They have the second leg at home but there’s still a while until that game.”
